The lovely folks from Peta are at it again, seems thy don’t agree with the newly planned reality show “Taking On Tyson”
Most of you know the love Mike Tyson has for his birds, well Animal Planet did too and gave Mike Tyson a green light to shoot a show about it. Well the show is more-so about racing pigeons, PETA calls the show cruel. They are calling on the show to be halted before filming starts in Brooklyn, New York in April. PETA general counsel Jeffrey Kerr says, “It is inherently cruel. The birds often end up lost in storms, being injured, or just becoming so exhausted that they’re unable to fly.”
Animal Planet fired back saying:
“There have never been any plans for wagering on the pigeon race. (The birds will be) cherished and respected by their owners, including Mr. Tyson.”
Who know pigeons even raced?
